Our mission is to partner with families to help kids know Jesus and share Him with others, show mercy and love for others and grow in Christ.

PURPOSE

Know Jesus – Jesus commissioned the church to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). It is the desire of this ministry to join with families to instill in their children a passion to know Jesus Christ their personal Savior and teach them how to share God’s word with others.

Show Mercy – The bible tells us how we are to “show our love for each other as brothers,” and to “remember those who are mistreated as if we ourselves were suffering” (Hebrews 13:1-3). We want children to learn about God’s heart desire for them to express mercy to a needy world.

Grow in Christ – It is written in 1 John 2:6 that, “Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.” The Lord wants us to be Christ-like, to imitate him. Proverbs 22:6 reads; “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” We want to honor God, bringing glory to him through transformation and growing up into the nature of Christ.

The purpose of Children’s Ministry is to teach, train and motivate children to become Disciples of Christ. We are called to spread the Word of God, offer mercy to people we know and encourage spiritual transformation. There is an urgent need in our world today and the time to act is now.
